About Us

Richard FitzGerald

Richard is the principal of Banyule Business Services and has been running his successful business for the past 10 years. He offers clients over 20 years experience in business taxation, accounting and management consulting. He is committed to assisting his clients achieve success in their business.

The first 10 years of Richard’s career were with Ernst & Young, initially as a taxation and accounting specialist and then as a management consultant. He later worked for 4 years in another senior role as a management consultant with Capgemini Consulting - a global consulting firm. During this time he assisted large corporate clients nationally and internationally in performance improvement, systems implementations and complex financial modelling. His projects included those with budgets exceeding $5 million AUD, and managing teams of over 20 people.

Richard gained his Bachelor of Commerce from Melbourne University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. His continuing professional training ensures his advice reflects current strategies and opportunities.
